Beginning Meditation ~ A 6 Week Course
Tuesday Evenings ~ 7 - 9 pm ~ Chapel
The course will introduce the basic principles of insight/mindfulness meditation, on mindfulness of breath, body and mind. Through talks, silent and guided meditation, exercises, and discussion, the class will help participants learn to quiet the incessant chatter of their minds, become less reactive toward difficult experiences, cultivate peaceful hearts, and touch the deep spiritual realm within us all. The class is suitable for beginning meditatiors and for those who wish to put new energy into their practice.
